Megan Fox’s most recent outfit is based on her grandmother’s sofa.

It’s known as sofa couture.

Megan Fox is known for baring it all in provocative outfits, but her latest ensemble may remind you of something a little more dowdy.

The “Jennifer’s Body” star wore a layered, print-heavy ensemble by Knwls that included flared leggings, matching arm warmers, a black mesh bra, a plaid bustier, and a wide headpiece made of the same fabric.

The clashing earth-toned designs didn’t exactly scream “sexy,” even though her corset top was short enough to show off her toned abs and plunging enough to show off her shoulders and décolletage.

 

“Everyone’s granny had that one sofa,” Fox captioned her outfit shot on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing her source of inspiration – and inviting viewers to swipe for a photo of the aforementioned upholstery.

“This dress makes no sense, but it’s Megan Fox, so I adore it,” one fan said, while another joked, “You might be cosplaying as a sofa, but can you just sit on me instead, Mami?”

Maybe the future Mrs Machine Gun Kelly, 35, was only trying to stay ahead of the memes; after all, who can forget Kim Kardashian’s gloved Givenchy pregnant gown for the 2013 Met Gala, which drew similar sofa comparisons?

Kardashian previously told Vogue about the iconic costume, “I think Robin Williams even tweeted it, saying I looked like Mrs Doubtfire.” “I couldn’t believe it and I was weeping the whole way home.”

Given that Kim’s sister (and Fox’s friend) Kourtney has recently gotten style inspiration from a sofa, the Skims founder may have just been ahead of her time.
