After a tour bus crash, Hardy was treated for “significant injuries,” and he asked for prayers for the bus driver.

After a terrible tour bus accident occurred on the way back to Nashville following a concert in Bristol, Tennessee, on Saturday night, Hardy is pleading for prayers for his tour family (Oct. 1).

The artist posts a letter to followers on social media, saying, “There were just four of us, including me, aboard the bus, but we were all treated for major injuries.” “I’ve been discharged from the hospital, but the doctors have told me to rest for the next few weeks, which could cost us a few gigs. As I take the next several days off, my team and I will inform the public on that.”

While Hardy is recovering, he urged supporters to pray for his bus driver, who is still in the hospital.

He goes on to say, “Our friend, the bus driver, needs your prayers as he is still in the hospital.” While he is receiving treatment, his family is with him, and we are all praying and supporting him.

After Hardy’s performance at Country Thunder at the Bristol Motor Speedway, the accident happened on the highway. Also on the bill that night were Lauren Alaina, Tracy Lawrence and Ian Munsick; Hardy’s friend and frequently collaborator Morgan Wallen headlined the night.

According to his website, October is a light month for Hardy’s touring schedule, though he is scheduled to perform in Arlington, Texas, on Oct. 8 as part of Wallen’s Dangerous Tour. Whether Hardy will be able to attend that show is still unknown.

Hardy thanks the medical staff for caring for him and the other three passengers on the tour bus after the accident as he wraps up his statement.

I pledge to keep you informed over the coming days and ask that you keep our road family in your prayers. God bless our medics, as well as local, regional, and state officials for their prompt action and fantastic service.
