It’s possible that Pat Sajak will stop hosting “Wheel of Fortune.”

According to “Entertainment Tonight,” the game show host of more than 40 years intimated that the “end is approaching” and that he’s ready for one last round.

“Years pass quickly. The end is almost here. It’s been quite a while. This won’t be done for another 40 years. The time has come, “a TV icon was present.

“It’s an honour to have spent so much time in people’s living rooms. There were people greeting us outside. We are content and proud.”

Sajak began hosting “Wheel of Fortune” in 1981 after it had its broadcast debut in 1975. In 1982, co-host Vanna White joined Sajak.

As participants try to answer the riddle or problem on the game show, White is renowned for rotating the letters.

Both Sajak and White have extended their deals with the programme through the season of 2023–2024.

Sajak stated, “In other TV shows by this point, you would have thought, ‘That’s probably enough,’ but this show won’t die.

It seems I might leave before the show, he said in jest.

Maggie Sajak, who also appears on the programme, serves as a sort of digital presenter, developing a lot of the “Wheel of Fortune” social media content and conducting numerous behind-the-scenes interviews.

Sajak has thought about leaving “Wheel of Fortune,” but he and White will continue to host “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” because the third season of the programme is soon to begin.

According to the news source, White said, “I think people love seeing celebrities and watching them be themselves and not play a part.”

“When they perform here, they are authentic, having fun, and playing for a worthwhile cause, so it’s beneficial for everyone.”
