There is optimism, but the only thing you can be sure of is that you won’t be struck by a cable car on King Street.

Deadline’s Damon Wise praised de Armas’ portrayal, calling it “all in, ferociously emotional but complex in its intricacies as it tackles the child-like sex symbol’s many paradoxes.” The movie has garnered positive reviews.

On September 23, Netflix will release Blonde internationally.
