Andy Cohen can’t believe Bethenny Frankel is launching her new “Rewives” podcast after she’s been “trashing” the Bravo franchise for years.

During his Sirius XM radio show, “Radio Andy”, the Bravo boss explained why he told Page Six he was “shocked” about Frankel’s decision to start a podcast centered around her experience on the “Real Housewives of New York.”

“I was surprised at that because she’s been trashing the show for the last three years,” he said on Wednesday.

“So I was like, ‘She’s been talking about that it’s toxic,’ and it’s this and every bad thing you can think she has been quoted saying about the show … and now she’s doing a ‘Housewives’ recap podcast.”

“I see her quotes, especially when they are negative about the show. So that’s why I was surprised,” he added.

Cohen exclusively told us last week he “was a little surprised” to hear about Frankel’s new venture after sheleft the franchise for good in 2019.

“But again I was like, ‘Oh, this is good, good for you.’ The more ‘Housewives’ podcasts the better,” the King of Bravo continued.

Frankel, who starred on the reality series on and off since 2008, announced she was launching a “Housewives” rewatch podcast earlier this month.

“I’m going back to housewives…..on my terms…and I’m going to MENTION IT ALL!,” she wrote on Instagram.

However, many of the Skinny Girl founder’s former co-stars — and fans — were quick to criticize the reality star’s choice to enter back into the world of “Housewives.”

Just days after Frankel’s big announcement, Luann de Lesseps dragged the “desperate” entrepreneur.

“It’s pretty sad and pathetic that she has to resort to ‘Housewives’ because of all of her failed pivots since the ‘Housewives,’” she said on an episode of “Everything Iconic,”adding that Frankel is bound to “s–t on” all the women on the show.

Carole Radziwill — who starred on “RHONY” from 2012 to 2018 — also took some shots at the controversial Bravolebrity.

“She did build her brand by trashing & mocking women specifically the HWs & Betheny [sic]. always returns to what she does best. I mean right out the gate she trash talks the other HW podcasts. Lol. Good luck to her. Somethings will never change,” Radziwill tweeted at the time.

Despite all the backlash, Frankel defended her decisionsaying she is taking control of her narrative after not being “proud” of her time on the Bravo series.

“This is my perspective, my story, my show, my experience versus a situation where we didn’t control the editing, and we didn’t control the process, and we didn’t control who we surrounded ourselves with, and the trips we went on, we weren’t in charge,” she wrote in an Instagram story.
