Anker has launched its PowerHouse 767 portable power station. The gadget, which has recently been on pre-sale, has a 2,048 Wh battery and a maximum power output of 2,400 W. Outputs on the gadget include AC and USB-C ports, and you can recharge the device via solar panels, should you wish.

The Anker PowerHouse 767 portable power station has now been launched. The gadget has a 2,048 Wh LiFePO4 battery which is expected to last for over ten years. You can increase the capacity to 4,096 Wh using a 2,048 Wh expansion battery, sold separately. HyperFlash technology allows you to recharge the gadget to 80% in 1.4 hours using a 1,440 W AC input. Alternatively, you could fully charge the device using a 1,000 W solar input in around 2.5 hours.

A maximum power output of 2,400 W allows you to power devices such as a microwave, portable fridge and electric hammer drill and charge smartphones and laptops. Outputs on the device include four 2,400 W AC ports, three 100 W USB-C ports, two USB-A ports and two 12 V car chargers. You can view your power consumption in a smartphone app, which can also deliver a low-battery notification.

Intelligent energy-saving features include Power Saving Mode, which stops charging a device when it reaches 100%. Plus, the power station will automatically shut down if no gadgets are connected for 15 minutes. A temperature control system ensures the device does not overheat, and a suitcase-style design with a handle and wheels makes the power station easier to transport. You can buy the Anker PowerHouse 767 for US$2,199.
