Apple is preparing a remedy for an issue that consumers claim causes the iPhone 14 Pro camera to wobble violently.

After several customers who recently bought an iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max reported their smartphones’ rear-facing cameras shook “uncontrollably” and made unusual noises when using social media apps, Apple stated it is working on a software update.

Some customers explained the problem only happened while utilising the camera with third-party platforms, such as Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram, in videos and posts they posted to social networking websites. A video was uploaded to YouTube by a user showing the phone trembling while using TikTok. Similar problems were discussed by other Reddit members. One person said, “Whenever I open Snapchat or utilise the camera for Instagram, I experience my camera shaking violently.” However, when I use the default camera app, I have no problems.

Apple (AAPL) stated it is actively attempting to find a solution in a statement to CNN on Tuesday. A corporate spokeswoman said, “We are aware of the issue and a patch will be published next week.

It’s Apple’s first setback since announcing a variety of new iPhones earlier this month. Given that these versions start at $999, the Pro models, which include the first 48 MP camera and a few other cutting-edge capabilities, are anticipated to be in particularly high demand this year.

Recent tweets from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the company switched the manufacturing lines for its ordinary iPhone 14 lineup in order to produce more of the higher-end smartphones due to the demand for the iPhone 14 Pro models. In contrast to the rest of the iPhone 14 lineup, the wait times for the iPhone 14 Pro variants appear to be lengthier.
Since the company’s latest mobile operating system, iOS 16, was introduced last Monday, there have been several software updates, including Apple’s repair. Then, to address problems with activating brand-new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro devices and to address a glitch with the zoom capability of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple released iOS 16.0.1.
