Badshah Starts His Own Music Label Pentertainment 0075

After years of working with major labels and dropping hit after hit, Badshah is launching his music label, Pentertainment 0075.

The first song on the label is by the artist himself. “Dear Aditya,” released earlier this month on Badshah’s YouTube channel. The track is part of an upcoming EP and is deeply personal. It’s about his childhood, his struggles, and how he found his voice in music.

The name Pentertainment 0075 comes from two words — “pen” (as in writing music) and “entertainment.” It’s his way of saying that music is both an art and a form of joy.

Badshah says the move is more a personal project than a business-oriented one. “This is about going back to where it all started for me,” he says. “I’ve worked with so many people, I’ve traveled the world, I’ve done it all. But deep down, I always knew I wanted to create something of my own. I wanted to trust my gut and make music that feels real — music that doesn’t follow rules, but creates new ones. That’s why I started Pentertainment 0075. I want to find and work with artists who have something different to say. And I couldn’t have done this without Universal Music India, who’ve been my partners for years. This is going to be something special.”

Badshah’s career so far has involved Bollywood hits, independent bangers and hip-hop anthems. With this label, he’s stepping into the role of a mentor and curator. The artist is leaning on his longtime label Universal Music India to support Pentertainment 0075. Universal Music India & South Asia chairman and CEO Devraj Sanyal says, “Badshah is more than just a rapper or a singer. He’s a movement. He’s changed how people see Indian pop music. Now, with Pentertainment 0075, he’s taking the next step — not just for himself, but for an entire generation of artists. We’re here for it.”
