Bethenny Frankel advises Meghan Markle to “let go” of the royal family drama.

Meghan Markle is getting royal advice from Bethenny Frankel.

During Thursday’s episode of Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, “Just B with Bethenny Frankel,” the former “Housewife” chastised the Duchess of Sussex for continuing to discuss her previous issues with the royal family, telling her to “let it go.”

“She’s very much like a Housewife in that she can’t stop talking about what she wants to be irrelevant,” Frankel, 51, explained.

“[It’s like] when you want to split up with the Housewives. ‘It was toxic, and I don’t want to be a part of the drama,’ the housewife says. [But] then… for the next five years, you’re always talking about the very thing you’re trying to get away from.”

“When you leave the royal family, leave the royal family,” Frankel continued. You discovered something, said it, and we heard you. … and [still] in every single interview you give, you bring up the royal family. Elsa, let it go. Continue forward. Make a difference in the future.”

The former reality star appeared to be referring to Markle’s explosive interview with “The Cut,” in which the mother of two alleged racist media coverage of her children.

When she was forced to share family photos with the same British media outlets whose readers allegedly called her children racial slurs, Markle detailed her internal conflict.

“Why would I give a photo of my child to the very people who are calling my children the N-word before I can share it with the people who love my child?” the 41-year-old asked. “You explain that to me, and then I’ll play that game.”

Frankel praised the former actress for speaking out about her experiences, saying, “It’s good for people to know that racism exists everywhere, but that’s not surprising.” For example, if you tell me that racism exists in the royal family, I am not taken aback.”

Due to strict rules and media scrutiny, Markle and Prince Harry “stepped back” from their duties as senior royals in 2020, a move that Markle claims cost Harry his relationship with his father, Prince Charles.

“Harry told me, ‘I lost my father in this process.’ It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his choice,” she said of her strained relationship with her father, Thomas Markle.

“I think forgiveness is really important,” Markle said when asked if reconciliation was possible. It takes a lot more effort to refuse to forgive. But forgiving takes a lot of effort. I’ve made a concerted effort, especially since I know I can say anything.”

A source later told Page Six that Markle was attempting to convey her desire for Harry, 37, not to lose his father.

The former royals married in 2018 and have two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.
