Today saw the service’s premiere in Japan, and it includes a contentious feature.
Higher reward tier members of Sony’s PlayStation Stars loyalty programme receive greater customer service.
According to VGC, users of the service after its September 29 introduction in Japan have expressed dissatisfaction with the fourth-tier users’ better access to customer assistance. By purchasing titles from the PlayStation store and earning trophies, users can advance through the tiers, thereby guaranteeing that those who have more money will have more support from Sony.
The reward list states that consumers who purchase four titles from the PlayStation Store and obtain 128 unusual trophies will be granted precedence in the chat order when contacting PlayStation Customer Support.

Some people are not happy about this because those who have done so will have priority in speaking with PlayStation customer service over those who haven’t spent as much.
Although Sony has not stated that there would be any differences between the North American, European, and other versions of the service, it is not assured that this PlayStation Stars award will be available with them.
Players will also receive a variety of virtual treasures, PlayStation Store wallet dollars, and select PlayStation Store products as part of the reward programme (that are definitely not NFTs).
