Bobby Fish, a former member of AEW, has given an explanation for why, despite the bout being over, he looked to kick out of CM Punk’s GTS finisher.
The comments CM Punk made at the post-All Out press conference that targeted Hangman Adam Page, Colt Cabana, and even AEW EVPs The Elite generated a tonne of criticism.
His outburst sparked a brawl behind the scenes, which resulted in the suspension of all those involved. The AEW World Championship, which Punk had just won that evening, has now been revoked. However, this was probably inevitable given that the superstar’s injury during the match could keep him from competing until 2023.

Since all of this happened, Bobby Fish, a former AEW star, is one person who hasn’t been afraid to express his views on CM Punk.
Following their match on Dynamite on October 27, 2021, Fish called Punk “a c*nt” and called him a “c*nt.” He added that Punk “should be grateful” for him lowering his shoulders on television.
However, video that has recently leaked on social media has Punk hitting Bobby Fish with his finishing manoeuvre, the GTS, as the referee counts to three.
Bobby Fish explained his side of the tale in an interview with Joey G of Wrestling Headlines.
“The match I played with Punk, when the kick out on the GTS, which isn’t even his move, threw everything off at the conclusion of that match.
“That’s me giving in to that impulse to be a little bit petty. You didn’t even have the decency to alter the name, and it’s KENTA’s move.
“However, the uncertainty at the conclusion of our match was caused by the fact that he performed a “iggy” or “the office.” Here we have some inside baseball information. Before the three count was over, he did it.
Since I’ve worked in this industry for a while, I understand what that means and have used it myself to tell someone, in our way, “Whatever, excellent match. Before the three count was over, he completed it. That is another approach to say to your adversary, “Hey, let’s fix something.
“At that same moment, I can compare it to how Tony Khan could have felt when he was ranting about the EVPs. You’re at a loss for what to do. I can speak for myself when I say that I had to make a decision at that same moment and was unable to consider both options.
“I had to leave, because else I would have lost the opportunity forever. I kicked out. Whatever it was being
