Brad Pitt Assault Allegations-Related FBI Lawsuit Names Angelina Jolie as Plaintiff

After considerable rumour, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been identified as the defendants in an unnamed 2016 complaint in which the plaintiff claims that her “then-husband” assaulted her on a private plane.

Jolie allegedly informed an FBI agent several years ago that Pitt “physically and verbally attacked” her and their children when they were on the plane, according to a Puck article. Pitt allegedly led Jolie to the back of the aircraft, gripped her shoulders, and said things like, “You’re fucking up this family,” according to the agent’s contemporaneous notes. Jolie said that another physical confrontation on the same aircraft left her with injuries, including to her elbow. Additionally, she said that Pitt had poured alcohol on her when he was intoxicated. The Pitt team has refuted each and every charge.

Following a meeting with the assistant U.S. attorney, the special agent determined that no criminal charges would be brought against Pitt. As a result, Jolie filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the FBI in order to collect information about the federal investigation into Pitt. According to Politico, it was a “intriguing ruling” that attracted notice in Washington D.C. that Jolie was permitted to bring a case against the FBI anonymously.

The revised complaint filed by Jolie states that “Ms. Doe has been seeking the suppressed information for [many] years in an effort to ensure that her children receive qualified…care and…counseling to address injuries experienced…

The FBI and DOJ suppressed information including proof of the harm. The continuous rejection of that information to Ms. Doe—who was herself the victim of the assault—has hampered and continues to impede her efforts to get for her children the ongoing care and medical treatment they require, further harming the kids in the family court system.

Following an incident on his family’s private plane in 2016, it was claimed that Pitt was under investigation for child abuse by both the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services. After Maddox, who was then 15 years old, intervened in a fight between Pitt and Jolie, Pitt allegedly got physical with his son.

Pitt’s camp strongly insists that there was no physical abuse and that no one was hurt physically, according to the following statement sent to People. In no way did he strike his child in the face. He is adamant that he did not do that. Yes, he did touch him since the altercation was getting out of hand.

The famous couple separated soon after the incident, and Pitt publicly stopped drinking. Pitt has not been put under investigation.
