Brahmastra

Brahmastra becomes the 7th Bollywood movie to gross Rs 100 crore in three days during its opening weekend at the box office.

The Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, did well overseas as well, with the global opening weekend total estimated to be about Rs 210 crore.

Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is the seventh Bollywood movie to earn Rs 100 crore in its opening weekend domestically. The Ayan Mukerji-directed movie had a three-day domestic gross of between Rs 105.50 crore and Rs 106.50 crore, ranking it as the third or fourth highest Hindi cinema weekend of all time. The ultimate box office total of Brahmastra will determine whether it is the third biggest film of all time or falls to fourth place. The business is about in the same ballpark as Sultan (Rs 105.60 crore).

Brahmastra would become the eighth Bollywood film to reach a century in three days if the South dubbed versions are also taken into account. In its three-day run, the film has made between Rs 119 and 120.50 crore. It is on the verge of breaking the record for the biggest opening weekend for a Bollywood movie held by Sanju (Rs 119.35 crore). The South Asian dubs of Brahmastra, with Telugu taking the lead, have brought in about Rs 13.75 crore net.

The weekend business is enormous, to put it mildly, with the all-India gross total hovering around Rs 140 crore. The international belt’s business is similarly good, with estimations placing Brahmastra’s weekend worldwide gross at Rs 210 crore. All eyes are now on the significant Monday test, and for Brahmastra to have a safe trip ahead, it must earn at least Rs 15 crore nett in Hindi.

It has so far fared similarly to a Marvel superhero movie, and the second weekend will see another large increase in commerce. However, a strong foundation during the workweek will make this masterpiece’s future easier. The Monday advances are reasonable, and there are typically several spot reservations on this day. To provide a point of comparison, the advancements at three major chains are roughly 50,000 tickets. The film has a chance of hitting the objective of Rs 15 crore on Monday thanks to advance bookings and positive hype. Tomorrow’s spots will help us get a clear picture. The IMAX version is already registering a 35 percent occupancy in advance; with spot bookings, this could increase to roughly 55 percent during the day, which is encouraging.

Brahmastra is the second Ranbir Kapoor movie to gross $100 million in its first weekend, and Alia Bhatt joins this exclusive club. Ranbir Kapoor earned Rs 30 crore or more in a single day for the sixth time in his career thanks to the weekend business. After Salman Khan (20 times) and Aamir Khan, it ranks as an actor’s third-best performance (9 times).
