Burna Boy Courts Anger from South Africans After Expressing Concern for Rapper Da Les and Calling for Unity

Internationally acclaimed Nigerian musician Burna Boy has come under fire from South Africans after expressing concern for SA rapper Da Les.

His post, which also called for unity between the two countries, sparked outrage from Mzansi.

Taking to his Instagram account, Burna Boy expressed his disappointment at not being in South Africa with fellow artist Da Les, who was recently hospitalized after suffering a stroke. He called on Tbo Touch to update him.

Burna Boy also argued that it was time to fix the tensions between South Africa and Nigeria.

“My Only pain right now is Not being in South Africa with DA LES. @tbotouch let me know what’s going on last night at the show. SA it’s time to fix this sh*t now.”

Flaunt Weeekly South Africans Respond with Outrage to Burna Boy’s Post

Burna Boy’s post was not well received by South Africans; instead, it triggered outrage from netizens who slammed and dragged him. Netizens did not mince their words as they told him that they didn’t want to see him in South Africa.

They argued that he was trying to find creative ways to come to the country. South Africans insisted that if he was so concerned about Da Les, he should simply send him a message or video call him, emphasizing that there was no need for him to come to South Africa and that he was not welcome.
