Burna Boy, Odumodublvck go home empty handed at 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards

Nigerian music stars, Burna Boy and Odumodublvck on Tuesday lost their categories, despite strong nominations.

The award ceremony aired from Drai’s Beach Club Nightclub in Las Vegas.

US rapper, Kendrick Lamar emerged the biggest winner of night after dominating the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards with eight awards prices, including Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for “Not Like Us,” and Best Hip-Hop Video.

Burna Boyon the other hand lost Best Live Performer to iconic rapper Missy Elliott, while Odumodublvck missed out on the Best International Flow award, which went to British rapper Ghetts.

Major winners includedNicki Minaj’s Hip-Hop Album of the Year for Pink Friday 2, while Sexyy Red claimed Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artiste. Future & Metro Boomin secured the Best Duo or Group award.
