Candace Cameron Bure quotes from the Bible in response to JoJo Siwa being called the “rudest celebrity.” TikTok

Candace Cameron Bure didn’t have to answer when Jojo Siwa said that she was the “rudest celebrity” she had ever met. Instead, it seemed like she let the Bible speak for her.

The actor posted Isiah 26:4 from the Bible on Monday after Siwa seemed to make fun of Bure in a TikTok post the day before.

“Always put your trust in the Lord,” Bure wrote on her Instagram story.

In her TikTok video, Siwa quickly showed pictures of different celebrities with captions that talked about how she met them. The first was Bure, who she called “the meanest famous person I’ve ever met.”

The former “Dance Moms” star’s TikTok also had videos of Miley Cyrus, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Zendaya.

Siwa didn’t explain why she called Bure the “rudest celebrity” in more detail, but the two have met before.

Both Siwa and Bure used to be on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” In December 2019, they were guests on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” Bure came with gifts for everyone, including Siwa, who got cookie cutters and some recipes.

Some people on social media said it’s “not surprising” that Siwa feels the way she does.

“And this kid worked with Abby Lee Miller,” said @S0ND0N, referring to Siwa’s time on “Dance Moms.” “Well, that says a lot.”

This story was first told in the Los Angeles Times.
