Cher Announces Retirement From Music

Grammy-winning American singer and actress, Cher has announced her retirement from music after more than 60 years in the industry.

During an event at the Lyceum Theatre in London on Tuesday, the 76-year-old singer revealed that her upcoming album will be her final one, as reported by ‘The Sun’.

The announcement came while she was promoting her memoir.

Cher shared her excitement about the new project, which marks her first album since 2013, stating, “This is probably my last album that I’m gonna do. I’m really excited. They are great songs and I’m just really excited that I’m doing it.”
