Flaunt Weeekly Days after tickets went on sale, Coachella 2025 still hasn’t sold out.
The Coachella Valley Arts & Music Festival has sold out the same day ticket sales became available for decades. In 2024, that trend was broken with general admission ticket sales still available months after the first sale date. With a stacked line-up for Coachella 2025, Goldenvoice hoped to break that trend. But 2025 ticket sales have failed to recapture the sold-out same-day magic of Coachella past.
This year’s festival weekends were announced for April 11 – 13 and April 18 – 20 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. Pre-sale for Coachella 2025 happened on November 22 at 11 am, with long-time fans of the music festival no doubt snatching up their tickets. Most general admission tickets for weekend one have sold out, though there are some VIP packages still available. General admission for weekend two is still widely available, however.
General admission tickets start at $599 for weekend one and $549 for weekend two. Goldenvoice also offered shuttle combo tickets ($729 WK1/ $679 WK2) and VIP packages ($1,399 WK1 / $1,199 WK2). Those high ticket prices are one suspected reason why Coachella isn’t selling out like previous years. Ticket prices from 2021 saw general admission start at $499.
Headliners this year include Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott. Rumors previously suggested Goldenvoice attempted to land Kendrick Lamar as a headliner—but the in vogue rapper turned down the invitation to perform. He’s since dropped a brand-new album and will headline the Superbowl Halftime Show next year. Rihanna was also reportedly tapped for the festival, but she also turned down the offer.
It’s also worth noting that YouTube is the livestream partner for Coachella, so anyone interested in live music that doesn’t want to fork over $600 bucks to have it blasting can watch from the comfort of their own home—for free. The 2024 edition of the Coachella livestream included performances from all six stages, including a multi-view camera to see four stages at once. YouTube also re-ran performances during off-days of the festival.
