Courteney Cox receives a plaque on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and responds to Prince Harry’s book claim

Courteney Cox got by with the help of her “Friends,” but she’s not so sure about getting high.

On Monday, the “Friends” actress received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and her sitcom co-stars and best friends Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow were there to celebrate with her.

“To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney,” Aniston remarked during the event. “When we met her, she was immediately kind, sweet, loving, and interested in everything about you, and you know I was really nervous to meet her because I was such a fan.”

According to Kudro, Cox’s influence “truly set us up to become one of the closest, most loving, and supporting casts in, I’ll say, television history.”

“‘Friends’ taught me the significance of camaraderie and truly sticking together,” Cox previously told Variety.

“These friendships came at a critical juncture in my life, and we went through so much together,” she said. “And it simply taught me about being there for each other – I know, that’s the song: ‘I’ll be there for you,'” says the singer. Yet it is correct.”

She also commented to Prince Harry’s latest biography, “Spare,” in which he stated that years ago, he stayed at Cox’s home and discovered “a box of black diamond mushroom chocolates” in her refrigerator.

“He did remain here for a few days — perhaps two or three,” she explained. “He’s an extremely nice guy.”

Cox said she hasn’t read the book yet, but “I do want to hear it, because I’ve heard it’s incredibly entertaining.”

“Well, yes, it has gotten back to me,” she replied. “I’m not suggesting mushrooms were present! I wasn’t going to hand them out.”
