Coventry Orchestra’s Spring Concert ‘Music Around the World’ in Support of Global Care

Flaunt Weeekly

Embark on a musical journey around the globe with Coventry’s Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra this spring! The upcoming concert, ‘Music Around the World,’ promises an eclectic mix of orchestral masterpieces and global favourites, all in support of Global Care.

Taking place at 3pm on Saturday, 29th March 2025, at Queens Road Baptist Church, Coventry (CV1 3EG; use CV1 3FE for SatNav), the event is set to delight audiences of all ages. From the haunting beauty of ‘Phantom of the Opera’ to the vibrant rhythms of ‘Jamaican Rumba’ and the majestic ‘Great Gate of Kiev,’ there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

All proceeds from the concert will go to Global Care, supporting their invaluable work with vulnerable children and families around the world. As a community-focused orchestra, we are proud to continue our tradition of giving back, having previously raised nearly £4,000 in 2025 for charities including local food banks, RNLI, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £7.50 for concessions, and just £1 for children under 16. Tickets can be purchased at the door or booked in advance at: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/heart-of-england-coop-concert-orchestra/t-yaxmryj

The Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra, now in its 107th year, has been a cornerstone of Coventry’s musical heritage since 1917. The orchestra is generously sponsored by the Heart of England Cooperative Society.

Interested in playing with us? We are always looking for new members! Whether you’re an experienced musician or looking to rediscover your instrument, find out more at: https://www.coventrycooporchestra.org.uk/join-hoecco

Join us for an afternoon of music, community, and fund raising. Let’s take a musical journey around the world together, in the heart of Coventry!
