Damiano of Mneskin David wants to work with BLACKPINK? At the VMAs, an Italian vocalist spills the beans.

At the VMAs, Mneskin discussed their ideal collaborations, and BLACKPINK was one of them!

 

On August 28, Mneskin, the famous Italian rock band, were interviewed on the red carpet of the 2022 VMAs, and they were asked questions such as “Who do you want to take a selfie with?” While the bassist, Victoria De Angelis, mentioned Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and Damiano David, he also mentioned BLACKPINK for the dream collaboration!

 

 

 

When BLINKs saw this, they were ecstatic at the prospect of them collaborating on a brilliant rock song. After seeing a glimpse of Rose as a rockstar in their latest release, ‘Pink Venom,’ fans want to see her as one. “Damiano, please take them to Italy,” one person said. “Imagine Mneskin collaborating with BP, Rose unleashing her inner rockstar to the fullest with the guitar, Jisoo with the deep voice, and Jenlisa subtle rap,” one person said.

 

Mneskin is a 2016 Rome-based Italian glam rock band. Damiano David on vocals, Victoria De Angelis on bass, Thomas Raggi on guitar, and Ethan Torchio on drums make up the band. They rose to prominence after finishing second in the eleventh season of the Italian talent show ‘X Factor’ in 2017. Their international breakthrough came when the foursome won Italy’s Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song ‘Zitti e buoni.’

 

On September 3rd, ‘Pink Venom’ debuted at #22 on the ‘Hot 100’ chart.

BLACKPINK’s fourth song to reach the Top 40 of the ‘Hot 100’ is ‘Pink Venom.’

In 2020, ‘Ice Cream’ was the highest-ranking BLACKPINK song on the ‘Hot 100.’

This song, which appeared on the first full-length album ‘The Album’ and was co-produced by American pop star Selena Gomez, charted 13th on the ‘Hot 100.’ It is also the highest ranking on the chart for a K-pop girl group.
