Daughter of ‘Basketball Wives’ actress Brooke Bailey was murdered in a collision in Memphis.

WREG – MEMPHIS, Tennessee The reality television personality Brooke Bailey’s kid was murdered in an interstate collision early on Sunday morning in Memphis.

 

Following the passing of Kayla Nicole Bailey, 25, there are thousands of tributes flooding social media.

 

Her mother wrote, “Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey,” in a devastating Instagram post. This is not a farewell. Mommy will soon see you.

 

Bailey, a local hairstylist, is named as the victim of a deadly tractor-trailer incident on I-40 eastbound just west of Hollywood at 4 a.m. Sunday morning in a crash report WREG acquired from the Memphis Police Department.

 

“They were after us:” She was a passenger in a blue Mercedes-Benz S550 that was totaled and transported to MPD’s vehicle storage lot. She was shot to death along with her sister and an 8-year-old child.

 

Julius Weaver, a 38-year-old Cordova resident who was the driver, passed away there.

 

After being transported to Regional One, Bailey passed away.

According to police, the driver was “inattentive” when he struck the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped due to a crash.

 

Investigations into the crash’s cause are ongoing.
