Davido shatters records on TikTok, gifts earnings to content creators

Flaunt Weeekly Nigerian music icon Davido has made history on TikTok, breaking the record for the Most Watched TikTok live stream in Africa.

The milestone was achieved during a collaborative live stream with popular content creators Peller, Jarvisand Yes Blaq.

On October 30, 2024, Davido joined the trio’s live stream, attracting an unprecedented 389,800 viewers. The peak concurrent viewership reached 164,000, solidifying Davido’s reputation as a social media powerhouse.

Meanwhile, during the live stream, Davido received an overwhelming 377 lion gifts, each valued at $400. In a heartwarming gesture, Davido announced that all earnings from the gifts would be donated to Peller and his team.

Additionally, this record-breaking achievement is proof of Davido’s immense popularity and influence on social media. Previously, Davido had promised Peller a collaborative live streamfulfilling his commitment and further cementing their friendship.

However, Davido’s generosity extended beyond the live streamas he recently gifted Peller an expensive wristwatch during a visit to his residence. The kind gesture left Peller overwhelmed with emotion, showcasing Davido’s compassionate and generous nature.

Lastly, this TikTok record success and charitable acts from Davido have garnered widespread admiration from fans and fellow celebrities. It reinforceshis position as a leading figure in African entertainment.

Davido breaks the record for the Most Watched TikTok live stream in Africa with 389,800 viewers in total.

Nigerian TikTokers, Peller, Jarvis and Jo Blaq hosted the live stream.

Over 164,000 people simultaneously watched the stream live.
