Alongside the launch date, Doogee has just confirmed most specs, features, and the pricing details of the upcoming V30 rugged handset. Its highlights include dual Hi-Res certified speakers, a 108 MP main camera, as well as a 6.58-inch 120 Hz display and eSIM support. The “world premiere launch” price is set to US$399.
All the details regarding Doogee’s next rugged handset, namely the V30, are now official. This Android smartphone will be a “first” for the Chinese OEM in more than just one areas, since it will be the brand’s first step into the 108 MP camera realm, (allegedly) the first rugged phone in the world to feature eSIM support, as well as the first Doogee device with a 120 Hz display.
In addition to the above, we should also add the dual speakers that are Hi-Res Audio certified and the 480 nits typical brightness of the 6.58-inch display mentioned above, which has a resolution of 2,408 X 1,080 pixels. The protective layer that ensures the screen’s protection uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The set of cameras on the back consists of a 108 MP shooter, which is accompanied by a 20 MP night vision camera and a 16 MP ultra-wide sensor. The selfie camera uses the 32 MP Sony IMX616 sensor. Although 4K videos are not in the cards, the Doogee V30 can shoot 4K 30 fps content using the main camera, while the night vision shooter can produce monochrome 4K 30 fps videos.
The base configuration will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, 8 GB of memory, and 256 GB internal storage with microSD support up to 1 TB. On top of all these, Doogee added a more than generous 10,800 mAh battery. This massive power pack promises up to 4 days of autonomy in regular use scenarios, with up to two days for streaming, 18 hours of phone calls, and as long as 40 days in standby.
The MIL-STD-810H-rated Doogee V30 comes with Android 12 out of the box and will hit the market on December 22 via AliExpresswhere the US$399 launch price will be down to US$279 for the first 48 hours. The handset will also launch via Doogeemall. After the launch discounts, the price will go all the way up to US$699. As usual, the final cost of Doogee products depends on the ongoing deals available and the local import taxes and other fees that might apply and will have to be paid by the buyer.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I’ve been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
