‘Disgraceful’ Meghan, Harry ‘provoked’ King Charles to remove them: royal expert

The eviction of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Frogmore Cottage does not surprise at least one royal expert.

“Harry and Meghan provoked him [King Charles] with Harry’s awful book and the interviews he did,” Tom Bower exclusively told Page Six in a recent interview, alluding to Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” as well as his appearances on “60 Minutes” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

“After all, what did he expect?” The author of “Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the Battle Between the Windsors” went on. “Harry wants the royal family to beg forgiveness on bended knee, and he’s completely crossed the line, he’s in the mad desert of deranged victimhood.”

The Duke of Sussex, 38, accused his father of labeling him a “spare” when he was born, refusing to hug him after Princess Diana died, and frequently joking that he wasn’t Harry’s biological father in his memoir.

Furthermore, the California-based king claimed that he has enough material for another book and that he only cut out vast swaths to save his family’s feelings.

“There are some things that have transpired, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the public to know. Because I don’t think they’d ever forgive me,” he stated in a January interview with The Telegraph.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex acknowledged to Page Six on Wednesday that Charles had ordered them to leave their England residence. The monarch allegedly made the request just one day after Harry’s divisive memoir reached bookstores.

To add salt to the wound, sources tell Page Six that the 74-year-old is preparing to have another family member, his disgraced younger brother, Prince Andrew, move into the five-bedroom residence on Windsor estate.

Although Harry and Meghan have lived in California since 2020, the new King has not provided the couple with another royally-owned residence, which means they will have to transport any furniture or knickknacks back to the United Kingdom.

According to the author of “Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the Battle Between the Windsors,” the revelation of the “Frogmore narrative reveals that Harry has no part in the approaching coronation and is not welcome.”

“If he and, God forbid, she came, they’d be the center of attention, and all eyes should be on Charles.”
