Due to unidentified cysts, Kelly Ripa claims she blacked out during a sexual encounter with Mark Consuelos and ended herself in the ER.

According to Kelly Ripa’s new memoir, she blacked out while having sex with her husband, Mark Consuelos.

According to an excerpt she sent to Haute Living, the “traumatic” incident was brought on by ovarian cysts.

Despite being common and frequently benign, ovarian cysts can be hazardous if they rupture.

In her memoir “Live Wire: Long Winded Short Stories,” which comes out on September 27, Kelly Ripa discusses her relationship with husband Mark Consuelos’s sex life.

 

The “Live with Kelly and Ryan” presenter said that huge cysts on her ovaries caused her to pass out during sex in 1997, just six months after the birth of her first child. She was at the emergency room when she awoke.

 

Ripa laments the clothing decision her husband made for her while she was asleep in an excerpt from the chapter “Don’t Let Your Husband Pick Your Death Clothes” shared by Haute Living.
