Eddie Edwards regrets not competing against a WWE Hall of Famer in TNA.
Since 2014, Eddie Edwards has competed for Impact Wrestling under the name TNA. He is now a member of the organization’s roster. Edwards has seen great success with Impact over the course of his eight years there, excelling in both the singles and tag team divisions and winning the Triple Crown in 2016. Edwards has won the X-Division Championship twice, the Impact World Championship twice, and the Impact World Tag Team Championships five times each. Throughout his career, Edwards has also competed against many notable athletes, including Bobby Lashley, Davey Richards, and Drew McIntyre. On Edwards’ list of potential opponents, only one name is absent.
In a “Ad Free Shows Exclusive,” Edwards remarked, “One match I wish could’ve happened but didn’t, you know, during my time in Impact.” “Kyle Angle I really want to wrestle Kurt, you know. He’s a man who, in my opinion, is on the bucket lists of many people right now. But he is someone with whom I would adore playing in a final game, whether it is the final game of the year or the final game of the evening.”
From 2006 until 2016, Angle competed in Impact Wrestling and won the Triple Crown, just like Edwards. Angle won the X-Division Championship once, the Impact World Championship six times, and the Impact World Tag Team Championships twice while competing for Impact. The Olympic Gold Medalist’s tenure in Impact Wrestling occurred after she had an outstanding WWE run during which she became their Grand Slam Champion. Angle was enshrined in the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2013 and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.
