Elimination from “Dancing with the Stars” depends on a tie-breaking vote

A tie-breaking vote was used to decide the winner of “Elvis Night” on “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Joseph Baena experienced some pre-performance drama when his partner Daniella Karagach Pashkova tested positive for Covid, preventing them from performing. Last-minute replacement Alexis Warr performed a Viennese waltz with Baena, and the two of them scored a 24 out of 40.

Selma Blair thrilled the audience with a dance that featured a split and a cartwheel.

Judge Len Goodman complimented “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino’s performance to “Viva Las Vegas,” saying, “Just like a Las Vegas gambler, you went all in and it paid off.”

With a combined score of 32 out of 40, Gabby Windey, Wayne Brady, and Charli D’Amelio shared first place. Brady danced to “Burning Love,” D’Amelio to “Bossa Nova Baby,” and Windey performed a Viennese waltz to “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

Teresa Giudice, a cast member of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” and her partner Pasha Pashkov were evicted.

Giudice was retained in the competition by Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, while Inaba supported Cheryl Ladd and Louis Van Amstel.

The tie was broken by head judge Goodman.

Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro’s season 31 of the programme can be watched live on Disney+.
