Emily Bergl is thanked by James Tupper for saying Anne Heche wasn’t crazy.

James Tupper expressed his gratitude after Emily Bergl, who played his co-star in “Men in Trees,” refuted claims that his late ex-girlfriend Anne Heche was “mad.”

The 57-year-old actor described Bergl’s Friday Instagram post as “absolutely accurate and true,” adding that he and the “Another World” alum share 13-year-old son Atlas.

Oh goodness, thank you for writing this, he said in his letter. adore you, E.

Heche, who passed away on Friday at the age of 53, was described as a “genius” in Bergl’s lengthy article.

The 47-year-old “Shameless” alum praised Anne as “one of the most unbelievably focused and prepared actors I’ve ever worked with” after collaborating with the Daytime Emmy winner from 2006 to 2008. I don’t believe I ever witnessed her miss her target.

Bergl said, “Her strength appeared superhuman,” observing that Heche never “phone[d] it in” on camera.

She would put in a full day’s work, invite everyone to the bar, have a few doubles, and then return to work at four in the morning.

The “Southland” alum remarked that Heche was “always on time” and “luminous without a lick of makeup.” “Her work would be immaculate scene after scene, yet always remain spontaneous.”

Heche had been certified brain dead and “not expected to survive” at the time of Bergl’s post after smashing her blue Mini Cooper into a Los Angeles home and starting a fire a week earlier.

In a statement to Page Six after the Tony nominee’s life support was turned off, her rep said: “We have lost a bright light, a lovely and most cheerful soul, a loving mother and a faithful friend.”

The late “Call Me Crazy” author’s eldest son, Homer, 20, told us that he believes she is now “free of agony” even though Bergl and Tupper have yet to post anything on social media since Heche’s passing.

Homer remarked over the weekend, “I am left with a deep, wordless sadness after six days of nearly extraordinary emotional swings.” I hope my mother is starting to experience what I like to think of as her eternal freedom.

While Coleman “Coley” Laffoon and Heche were still married, Homer was born in 2002. In 2007, the couple divorced, and she moved on with Tupper.

Atlas was born in 2009, and the former couple divorced in 2018. The “Big Little Lies” actor expressed his love for Heche on Instagram after she was involved in a car accident.

Laffoon, a 48-year-old real estate dealer, paid tribute to Homer on Friday, telling his Instagram followers that he is “strong” and “going to be OK.”

She came in hot and had a lot to say, was brave and fearless, loved deeply, and was never hesitant to let us know what she thought and what she believed in, the man gushed.
