Emma Caulfield Ford, a star of “WandaVision” and “Buffy,” reveals she has MS.

Emma Caulfield Ford, well known for her roles as Dotti on WandaVision and Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series, has admitted to having multiple sclerosis.

Caulfield Ford said Vanity Fair, “I used to have no health issues.” “One morning when I woke up, I felt like a million ants were crawling across the left side of my face. That sensation you get after remaining stationary for too long? The sensation has vanished and is returning like a blood rush.

When Caulfield Ford visited her acupuncturist, the doctor speculated that she might have Bell’s Palsy, a condition marked by muscle weakness that causes the lower half of the face to droop. Her doctor confirmed she had MS after she had more testing and the findings of an MRI.

After learning she had MS, she described her reaction as feeling “out of body.” “No, that’s not conceivable, I’m like. “What are you talking about?” I ask. [The doctor] handled things with a lot of professionalism. It was like something out of a nightmare.

Caulfield Ford also disclosed that although her father had MS, it wasn’t the reason for his passing. Additionally, the actor admitted that she first kept her diagnosis a secret because she “didn’t want to give anyone the opportunity to not hire me.” Caulfield Ford claimed that she silently endured the effects of MS while filming WandaVision. She continued by saying that she would be playing the same part in Agatha: Coven of Chaos on Disney+, but this time, she had informed “everyone that has to be informed.”
