After installing the Windows 11 2022 Update (also known as Windows 11 22H2) that Microsoft made available to the public earlier this week, some users of Nvidia’s GeForce graphics cards are reporting serious performance concerns. Even on fast PCs with contemporary components, afflicted users have reported experiencing stuttering, erratic framerates, and slowdowns.
According to Nvidia, the issue is brought on by some new Windows graphics debugging features that were unintentionally turned on.
The firm made the problem known to the public and then issued a new beta version of the GeForce Experience software suite that, according to the company, should resolve it. This suggests that the issue is with Nvidia’s add-on software rather than the GeForce drivers themselves; otherwise, you might not have noticed the slowdown in the first place if you installed the drivers without the GeForce Experience programme.
