For “Complex Mental Health Issues,” Ezra Miller is seeking treatment

The ‘The Flash’ celebrity apologises to everyone he or she has upset or alarmed with prior behaviour in a statement.

Ezra Miller claims they are seeking treatment for “complicated mental health concerns” as a result of unsettling behaviour that produced accusations of assault and abuse, as well as charges of harassment and criminal burglary.

“Having just gone through a moment of intense stress, I now understand that I am suffering from complicated mental health difficulties, and I have started continuing treatment,” Miller claims in the statement provided to The Hollywood Reporter via a spokesperson. I sincerely regret alarming and upsetting anyone with my previous actions. I’m determined to put in the effort required to return to a stage of my life that is safe, secure, and productive.

The declaration follows a year in which Miller has generated a lot of controversies.

Miller, who uses the pronouns they/them, was detained twice in Hawaii: once in March for disorderly behaviour and harassment after an incident at a karaoke club and once more in April for an alleged assault in which Miller is accused of hitting a woman on the head at a private property. An order of protection was filed against Miller by the parents of an 18-year-old who claimed that the actor began grooming their child when the boy was 12 years old. (In an Instagram post, the child denied being forced by Miller.) Miller was most recently charged with felony burglary on August 8 in Vermont, where the actor resides after it was claimed that he had stolen alcohol bottles from a nearby vacant house in May.

The future of Miller’s most well-known project, DC’s The Flash, has been questioned in the wake of the scandals. According to a THR article from last week, Warner Bros. was considering many options for the highly-budget movie, including limiting the amount of press Miller would receive before its release or, as a last resort, scrapping the project altogether. Warners reportedly received signals that the 29-year-old Miller, whose mother had started travelling with the actor, would seek professional assistance.

The release date for The Flash has been announced as June 23, 2023.
