For the “Jurassic World” movies, Bryce Dallas Howard claims she received a lower salary than Chris Pratt.

(CNN)Bryce Dallas Howard says that the gender pay gap still exists, just in case you needed more convincing.

Speaking to Insider, the actress claimed that she received “so much less” compensation for her efforts in 2015, 2018, and 2022 “Jurassic World” movies than Chris Pratt.
“I was at a big disadvantage when I started negotiating for ‘Jurassic,'” she added. It was 2014 and a new world. And, regrettably, you have to commit to three movies; hence, your contracts are finalized.

She claimed that after talking to Pratt about the inequality, he intervened to ensure that his co-star received equal treatment for additional franchise-related opportunities, like as video games and amusement park attractions.

“You guys don’t even have to do anything, he literally said to me. I’ll conduct all of the negotiations. You don’t need to worry about this, Bryce; we’re going to get paid the same “explained Howard. “And he has my utmost admiration for doing it. I genuinely do, as I’ve received higher compensation for work of that nature than I ever did on the film.”
For further information, CNN has contacted Howard’s agent.

Howard plays Claire Dearing, the operations manager for Jurassic World, in the movies, and Pratt plays Owen Grady, a velociraptor expert, and dinosaur trainer.

The sixth instalment in the Jurassic Park series, “Jurassic World: Dominion,” made an estimated $143.3 million in its first weekend.
