Flaunt Weeekly
Horsegirl have added a new leg of shows in support of their upcoming album, Phonetics On and On. The New York-via-Chicago trio will kick off the North American summer tour on August 4 in Madison, Wisconsin, and end the run on August 26 in Denver, Colorado. Godcaster will open each concert. Check out Horsegirl’s complete list of tour dates below.
These shows are in addition to the 2025 winter tour that Horsegirl announced last year. Following a hometown show at Chicago’s Metro with openers Lifeguard and Answering Machines on February 22, the trio pick up Free Range and play eight other U.S. venues along the East Coast. In June, they fly to Europe for a dozen performances, including sets at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Porto.
Phonetics On and Ontheir sophomore album and the follow-up to 2022’s Versions of Modern Performancearrives this Friday, February 14, via Matador. Although Horsegirl relocated from Chicago to New York so that singer-guitarists Nora Cheng and Penelope Lowenstein could attend New York University, they returned to their hometown to record the album at Wilco’s studio the Loft, with Cate Le Bon serving as their producer.
