Scalesthe Nigerian singer, has taken to social media to share his painful experience of betrayal in the music industry.

In a recent X post, the ‘Mukulu’ hitmaker revealed that he would someday expose the people who turned their backs on him, including those he helped build their careers.

Scaleswhose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, expressed his gratitude to God for being his rock despite the isolation and betrayal he faced.

The 33-year-old also appreciated his mother’s encouragement, advising his fans to keep trusting in God.

“One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how Alota people turned their backs on me including people I helped built up in this industry but guess what God never failed me even when isolated,” he wrote.

“Don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with every everything you got… best advice my mom gave me!!!”

Scales’ post comes after a similar sentiment expressed by his colleague Reekado Banks, who recently threatened to expose an individual in the music industry who allegedly sabotages emerging talents.

Banks claimed that the individual either lacks knowledge or intentionally hinders the growth of budding artistes.

Scales gained recognition after winning the North Central region of the Zain Tru Search contest in 2008.

He later signed with Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) record label in 2009, alongside other notable artistes like Wizkid and Niyola.
