Zimdancehall musician Hwindi President is lucky to be alive after surviving a second car accident within a month.
The musician shared images of the badly damaged car on his social media earlier today. This is the third car Hwindi President has lost since October.
The black vehicle with which the Chanter was involved in an accident crashed from the driver’s side. The bonnet crumpled inward, exposing the engine during the crash.
It is still unclear if Hwindi President was injured and the extent of the injuries from the accident. Reports suggest a friend had lent him the car after ZIMRA impounded his Chevrolet.
He took to Facebook to express gratitude for surviving an accident yet again:
“YOU MAY HAVE YOUR POWERS TO HURT PEOPLE BUT IF GOD DOESN’T WANT IT THEN THEY DON’T WANT IT…. LIVING TESTIMONY everything else doesn’t matter the owner’s car we just fix it or pay for it if it can’t be fixed. I think breathing is important.“
People online reacted to the crash.
Mosquito:
“Be strong brother Hwindi President Music is the most important thing in life.”
Paul:
“God does not deny my silence, and they have no history of failure. it shall be well!”
Grace:
“Zviriko wangu usapera simba just put more energy you have a lot of people waiting for you out there, don’t disappoint them.”
The Zimdancehall artist was involved in a car accident on Sunday morning, October 13, 2024, while returning to Harare from the Lake October event in Masvingo. The cause of the accident remains unclear.

Images online showed Hwindi President and his team sitting beside their damaged vehicle, which had significant damage on the right side, including a shattered windscreen.
Following the accident, Hwindi faced another setback when the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) impounded his car on October 28, 2024. The Chevrolet with South African plates was seized as part of ZIMRA’s ongoing crackdown on smuggling and fraudulently imported vehicles.
