I was born in California, USA grew up there, and moved back to Kenya in 2013, that’s what’s up with my (American) accent.

The reason I have trouble speaking in Kiswahili or Kikuyu (my local dialect) is that when my parents got their US visas they decided to just raise an American child, they never spoke to me in Swahili or Kikuyu. So what little Swahili and Kikuyu I know is what I have picked up since coming back. I understand more Swahili than I speak.

One could argue that I should be fluent in Kiswahili by now if I had returned years ago, but then I am never here all the time. Besides, my friends talk to me in English all the time.

I love cooking, it’s like a stress reliever for me. I can cook everything.

I’ve been single for three years and it’s because of men. The reason could be me too, I can take responsibility for my fault, but 95 percent of why I am single is because of men. Nowadays men want several women and they have become lovers of themselves.

What I look for in a man is one who is godly, handsome, and taller than me. I am 5’4″. A gentleman and a man who spoils me, every girl wants to be spoiled. If anything, I spoil my man, so I would like to be spoiled too.

By being spoiled I mean I need surprises, gifts, taking me out on dates, traveling, and being supportive.

Will I date a broke guy? Well, just because someone doesn’t have money right now doesn’t mean they’re broke. Being broke is a temporary thing. So yes, I can date someone who’s financially struggling right now but has ambition and drive, but we can’t be broke all the time.

What I don’t like is people’s misconceptions. Judging because someone looks a certain way. It is not nice, perceptions are very skewed, you better ask.
