‘I Can’t Wait to See What She’s Going to Do,’ says Dr. Dre in response to Rihanna headlining the Super Bowl halftime show.

Fans of the R&B singer are celebrating Rihanna’s announced return to the live music stage for the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show in February 2023, making today officially Rihanna’s day.

 

Dr. Dre, who performed at the Super Bowl with Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent this year, is among those anticipating Rihanna’s Halftime performance.

 

God, oh God. Hey, guy, let me tell you something. In an interview with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1, he stated, “I actually just learned that Rihanna is going to do [the Halftime Show], and I’m a huge fan of Rihanna. “I am eager to see what she will do.”

 

With a photo of an NFL-branded football on her Instagram, Rihanna covertly announced to the world that she would be performing at the LVII Halftime Show. Soon after, Roc Nation confirmed in writing that they will be serving as the concert’s strategic entertainment advisors.

 

I just like her, what she does, her get down, how she handles her work, the full nine, said Dre. It’s wonderful. He said, “I know we set the bar really high,” before saying, “I know Rihanna has the opportunity to truly blow us away.”

 

Prior to the performance, he made sure to give Rihanna some advice: “Surround yourself with the appropriate people and have fun. Making sure you are surrounded by the proper creative people is really what it is.

 

Dre revealed that he was “very scared” before his 2022 Super Bowl appearance, but that the “planning and making sure you have the right people around you” ultimately made the show.

 

“Everyone was incredibly enthused about the show, and all of these folks came through for me. Although there are many things and many individuals you must rely on, we had a nice time, he said. Therefore, there is a great deal of pressure, but it’s also enjoyable. It gives you goosebumps when it’s finished, bro. I was overcome with emotion, especially after seeing the response to the show and being able to perform alongside all of my friends.
