The plan for this Friday’s AEW Rampage appears to be to place a lot of weight on the possibility that Andrade El Idolo may indeed be departing the business.
As was previously mentioned, Andrade will compete against Preston Vance of The Dark Order, and if Andrade loses, Vance will be forced to reveal his identity.
Although it may seem obvious to many fans that Andrade will prevail in the bout, it is important to remember that this Rampage episode is being billed as the two-year anniversary of Brodie Lee’s final match; hence, in principle, Vance should triumph.
Andrade has apparently expressed his dissatisfaction at not receiving as much attention as he had hoped, and there have been speculations that WWE had contacted him. Tony Khan, however, is reportedly not granting any releases. So it’s feasible that Khan will release him if he completes his work on Rampage. We’ll have to wait and see if that comes to pass.
The following tweets from Vance:
“Not just for me, though. For the Dark Order. Dedicated to Brodie. This is to demonstrate to the world why I remain hand-selected. Bye, bye, bitch. Do for Life: #AEW”
We will reveal the essence of Friends in Dark Places to the public the following week. If you don’t want to be here, leave immediately. That truly is cowboy s**t. It uses the hashtags “#AEW #DarkOrder #X #HandPicked #FriendsInDarkPlaces #CowboySh*t #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage”
This isn’t just for me. This is for Dark Order. This is for Brodie. This is to show the world why I’m still handpicked. See ya bitch. #AEW #DO4Life https://t.co/nltzSDnuZE
