Singer, songwriter, and producer Young Jonn has expressed his frustration at being overlooked in discussions about the top musicians in Nigeria.
In a statement, Young Jonn attributed this neglect to his humble beginnings as a producer, rather than a singer.
With a successful career as an in-house producer for YBNL Nation, where he produced hits for artists like Lil Kesh and Olamide, Young Jonn has made a lasting impact on the Nigerian music scene.
His transition to a singing career under Chocolate City has also been marked by several hit songs, including “Dada,” “Xtra Cool,” and “Big Big Things.”
Despite his accomplishments, Young Jonn feels undervalued and left out of key conversations.
On his X handle, he shared his thoughts, saying, “I see how you all leave me out of conversations prolly cos I started out as a producer. Continue! Time will tell!”
