Formerly known as Kanye West, the musician now known only by the moniker Ye shared a message for his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
West expressed regret for “any stress” he may have caused during an interview that aired on “Good Morning America” on Thursday.
Because God is calling me to be stronger, West said ABC, “This is the mother of my children, and I apologise for any stress that I have created, even in my frustration. “However, nobody else needs to be putting anyone else through stress either. To be able to raise those kids, I need this person to be as unstressed, mentally sound, and tranquil as possible.”
In February, Kardashian filed for divorce from West.
When asked by Linsey Davis if he “has a voice” while co-parenting their four children, he said yes.
West remarked, “I do have a voice, but I had to battle for it. When you have to, like, shout about what your kids are wearing, it hurts.
Adding that there were similarities between his divorce and his current problems in the fashion industry
The similarities between what was happening at Gap, Adidas, and his house may be seen in the small details, he claimed. “Everything was done with a general disregard for the opinion of something I helped build. I helped to create the kids. At Adidas, I helped to build the product. I helped Gap co-create the product. The parallel does mention discrimination, hence it is in fact a parallel.”
He also mentioned that his marriage had discrimination, but he made no further mention of it.
On “Nightline,” the entire interview will air tonight.
