In its 106-year history, Timothée Chalamet is British Vogue’s first solely male cover star.

Timothée Chalamet, who plays Wonka, is the first man to appear on the cover of British Vogue in its 106-year existence.

The 26-year-old sensation, according to the magazine, has made an irrevocable impression on his generation that is impossible to forget. However, if you question the actor directly, he’ll claim he never imagined his life would be so significant at such a young age.

He admitted to the magazine, “I had a delusional dream in my early teenage years to have, in my late teenage years, an acting career. “And in my late teenage years, while working on Homeland and beginning to perform in plays in New York, I felt like I lowered my aim to something more achievable, namely to work in theatre and ideally make enough money doing either a TV programme or something I could support myself [with]. Then, it seemed as though all of your dreams had suddenly come true. Then, life accelerates to a speed of six million miles per hour.

There are some learning curves, of course. Chalamet claims that the pandemic gave him special chances to develop and evolve.

I had to take a step back when Covid hit,” he stated. Everyone must deal with things like paying taxes, going to the doctor, and acting like an adult, you know? I should have started establishing my mature self a little earlier than I did.

“I found myself having to really, you know, be honest with myself that, by some miracle, got me to where I am in life was balls to the wall, like throwing everything at [it] from a young age,” he concluded. But to then shift to an adulting perspective.

However, this does not imply that the Wonka star has never felt like an old soul. He has, in fact.

He remarked, “I feel like I was born with the perspective that feels ‘old man,'” later defining it as “the empath thing, the thinking for everyone in the room, the sort of mistaken sense, this sort of delusion, of control based on trying to feel for everyone.”

Chalamet discusses his career in basic words in a subsequent video interview with British Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, claiming he has been purposeful in choosing jobs that speak to him – regardless of how many lines he has.

Regardless of the scale of the job, he said, “I feel like early in my career, I just wanted to work on things that were wonderful.” “And it frequently entailed working with a fantastic filmmaker. I suppose I’m attempting to travel through uncharted territory.

The modest actor was unable to comprehend his significance in the celebrity zeitgeist or that he stands for what Enninful refers to as “a moment in history, a period in time.”

With a chuckle, Chalamet remarked, “That’s scary as f***.”
