K-Pop Artists Claim 30 Spots On Billboard Japan’s 2024 Year-End Hot Albums Chart

K-pop enjoyed another impressive year on the Japanese music charts!

This week, Billboard Japan published its annual year-end charts for 2024, and K-pop artists made a strong showing on this year’s Hot Albums Chart.

SEVENTEEN claimed two of this year’s top five spots—and both with Korean albums. The group’s best-of compilation album “17 IS RIGHT HERE” came in at No. 3 for 2024, while their latest mini album “SPILL THE FEELS” ranked No. 5. SEVENTEEN landed a total of four albums in this year’s top 100, with their 2023 Korean mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” taking No. 13 and their 2023 Japanese best-of album “ALWAYS YOURS” staying strong at No. 58.

Stray Kids’ second Japanese studio album “GIANT” made this year’s top 10 at No. 7, while their 2023 Japanese EP “Social Path/Super Bowl” came in at No. 68 on the year-end list.

Overall, K-pop artists claimed 30 of the 100 spots on the Hot Albums chart for 2024. Check out all the K-pop albums that made the year-end chart below!
