Kelora have signed to tastemaker imprint True Panther Records.
The duo – Kitty Hall and Benedict Salter – break down ideas of folk tradition to their fractal components, allowing the surrounding landscapes to imprint themselves on their music.
The pair have a gothic, hypnagogic take on folk-hewn songwriting, with wisps of sound tapping into ethereal currents. Having self-released their 2023 debut album ‘Gloomerald’to underground acclaim, Kelora have switched from Glasgow to London.
Snapped up by True Panther Records, Kelora’s new song ‘I Call To You’ is uniquely atmospheric – perfect for Samhain season, it’s a bewitching piece of spectral folk, a recording that feels rusted or degraded by time.
