Kid Cudi To Star In Brittany Snow’s Directorial Debut ‘September 17th’; Details Inside

American rapper Kid Cudi has been enticed into taking the main role in Brittany Snow’s directorial debut, September 17th. As stated by Variety, Snow revealed the news during an engagement for ‘X’, the horror flick that features the couple together. Snow, who will wear the hat of a director for the first time, revealed that she’s completely ‘eager’ to work with Cudi again.

During the discussion with Variety, Snow did not divulge much about her future film but stated, “I can’t really speak to it too much, except that Scott’s playing a bit in the movie, so that’s good”. Kid Cudi, on the other hand, claimed that it was tough for him to believe that Snow wanted him to take the role. The rapper further remarked that September 17th is going to be ‘amazing’ since he likes the plot of the film.

 

He said, “I couldn’t believe that she wanted me in it. She had informed me about the movie when we were on site for ‘X’, but she never asked me to participate in it. I was thinking, ‘Maybe she’s waiting to see how ‘X’ comes out.’ It’s gonna be fantastic. Really fantastic script”.

 

The narrative of the next movie will be describing the life of Riley, who battles with body image difficulties and eating disorders. After returning from treatment, her path crosses with Ethan and what occurs afterwards is her quest to discriminate between a new addiction and pure love. September 17th is bankrolled by Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman under the umbrella of Yale Production in partnership with Lizzie Shapiro’s The Space Program Production.
