‘Law & Order: SVU’ co-star Mariska Hargitay At the end of tonight’s episode, remember Richard Belzer.

Richard Belzer was memorialized at the end of tonight’s episode of Law and Order: SVU, helmed by longtime castmate Mariska Hargitay.

 

Belzer, who played a gruff New York officer on Law & Order: SVU and Homicide: Life of the Street, died last week at the age of 78. Belzer originated the role of Detective John Munch in 1993.
