Mira Sorvino Remembers Her Father Paul Sorvino: “My Heart Is Split Apart”

Mira Sorvino wrote a touching message on Twitter about her father Paul Sorvino, who died today at the age of 83 after struggling with his health.

 

She wrote on Twitter, “My father, the great Paul Sorvino, has died.” “My heart is torn in two. Our life of love, joy, and wisdom is over. He was the best father in the world. I love him so much. As you go up, Dad, I’m sending you to love in the stars.”

 

His wife, Dee Dee Sorvino, said earlier today that Paul Sorvino had died.

“Mira, I’m so sorry for your loss,” wrote Rob Reiner, whose father Carl Reiner directed Mira Sorvino’s father in the movie Oh, God! “Sending my love.”

“Oh Mira, you were the first person I thought of,” Kathy Griffin said. “I know you loved your dear father a lot. And he cared so much about you. Sending condolences from all over the world.”
