NH7 Weekends will take place on Dec. 14 and 15, 2024 with new changes for their Pune edition at Teerth Fields.
Now in their 15th edition – making them one of the longest multi-genre music festivals in India – NH7 Weekender is now taking place as a two-day event compared to its long-running three-day iteration. The festival has also switched up its brand and moving on from Bacardi as its title sponsor. Tickets for the NH7 Weekender 2024 will go live on Oct. 15, 2024 via Insider.in.
A press release adds that NH7 Weekender is “reinventing the format” this time around, “to present audiences with a more curated and tighter offering of music and experiences with the same range and diversity of programming.” While the lineup is yet to be announced, the release adds, “Featuring the biggest lineup of homegrown and international artists, spanning genres like pop, hip-hop, indie, metal, and electronic, this year promises to be unforgettable.”
The visual elements of the festival have come to the front so far, bringing in 3D design from artist Sage aka Rahul Yadav. The press release describes Sage as a Mumbai-based streetwear designer and visual artist. It adds, “For the upcoming edition of NH7, he has channeled his passion for music, anime, mythology and fashion to create a set of surreal yet iconic characters.”
The date announcement for NH7 Weekender put to rest any lingering doubts about the festival continuity. Although running on a timeline later than usual, the festival is announced well after other major festivals like Lollapalooza India 2025, Magnetic Fields Festival, Bandland and Mahindra Independence Rock already have their lineup out.
NH7 Weekender’s previous edition in late 2023 brought in Punjabi pop veteran Daler Mehndi, hip-hop stars like M.I.A., YG and MC Stan, metallers Monuments, Indo-Canadian rap duo Cartel Madras, British jazz quintet Ezra Collective and more.
Nodwin Gaming’s co-founder and managing director Akshat Rathee says in a statement, “We at Nodwin Gaming, are thrilled to celebrate 15 incredible years of NH7 Weekender, the Happiest Music Festival!
