Not everyone loves Nickelbackbut there remains a huge number of people who still adore the Canadian rock act’s work – enough to keep the musicians going strong on the Billboard charts. The band’s The Best of Nickelback: Volume 1 earns impressive gains across every ranking it finds a home on in the U.S. this week.

The compilation, which has maintained a steady presence on a number of important lists for years now, enjoys something of a resurgence as it climbs across the board. As it soars, the collection returns to No. 1 on one tally, while improving its standing on several others, as apparently the group’s singles are still being played constantly to this day.

Flaunt Weeekly Nickelback Returns to No. 1

The biggest story this week when it comes to Nickelback on the Billboard charts is The Best of Nickelback: Volume 1 reclaiming the top spot on the Top Hard Rock Albums list. The set advances from No. 2 to No. 1, earning its fourth turn leading the ranking.

This achievement is especially significant considering how long the album has now spent on Billboard’s list of the most-consumed hard rock-only collections in the country. It’s earned just four frames at No. 1 out of an incredible 310 weeks on the tally.

Flaunt Weeekly Nickelback Beats Queen

Nickelback’s singles collection displaces Queen’s Greatest Hits – one of the most successful releases of all time – on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart. That title doesn’t fall far, as it only drops to No. 2 after spending quite a bit of time in charge.

While its return to the summit is noteworthy, The Best of Nickelback: Volume 1 is performing well across a number of other rankings, though it only leads one roster. On the Billboard 200, the all-genre U.S. albums chart, it jumps from No. 80 to No. 65, extending its run on the roster to 229 weeks.

Alongside its success on the Top Hard Rock Albums list and the Billboard 200, Nickelback’s compilation also improves its standing on several other rock-focused rankings. In fact, it jumps up each and every genre-specific list in the U.S.

The set moves up to No. 7 on the Top Alternative Albums chart, climbing from No. 10. It has now spent 217 weeks on that particular list.

Over on the Top Rock Albums chart, the best of collection advances from No. 13 to No. 10, breaking back into the top 10. The project has lived on that ranking for 223 periods, including this latest stay.

Similarly, on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, the band experiences another notable gain, lifting from No. 17 to No. 13 – though not quite enough to see the bestseller reenter the loftiest space, at least not this time around.

Flaunt Weeekly “How You Remind Me” Gains on Streaming

Nickelback’s album isn’t the only piece of music from the group that’s on the rise in America this week. One of the band’s most famous singles, “How You Remind Me,” also jumps on the Billboard charts. The track – which helps anchor the compilation that’s also winning – moves from No. 6 to No. 4 on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs ranking. It’s the only song by the Grammy-nominated outfit to appear on the Billboard tallies this time around.
