No, your account isn’t banned: Instagram confirms ongoing outage

If you can’t get into your Instagram account today, you’re not alone.
Instagram has confirmed that there is an ongoing issue that prevents some users from accessing their accounts.
This means that, despite the errors you may be seeing, your account is not banned…
Is your Instagram account suspended?
On Monday morning, an influx of Instagram users took to Twitter to express their inability to access their accounts.
In some cases, this has led to Instagram users believing that their accounts had been suspended or deactivated.
Fortunately, this is not the case.
“We’re aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account,” the company says in a tweet from its Instagram Communications account.
We’re investigating and apologise for the inconvenience.”

This is a strange outage.
Most users’ Instagram apps are loading, but they are unable to access their specific profile pages.
Some users have even reported errors indicating that their accounts have been banned or suspended.
Many affected users are also experiencing significant drops in follower counts.
